Why Erling Haaland is not in the Man City squad for Leeds clash.

Erling Haaland won't feature in Manchester City's lineup for tonight's Premier League match against Leeds United.The Norwegian forward picked up a minor knock during a recent training session, and Manchester City confirmed via their official website that he's not fully fit to play. In his place, Omar Marmoush will lead the attack, joined in the front line by Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo.

Ahead of kickoff, Pep Guardiola spoke to Sky Sports about the situation: "Two days ago, towards the end of training, he had some issues. A little injury. It's nothing serious, but he's not quite ready for today."This season, Haaland leads the Premier League scoring charts with 22 goals in 27 appearances. Overall, he's netted 29 times across all competitions, including seven in the Champions League—where City recently learned they'll face Real Madrid in the next round following Friday's draw.
